Planning for Teaching
While observing my cooperating teacher, I noticed that she heavily relies on the Teacher’s Guidebook provided by the school for lesson discussions and uses the Learner’s Guidebook for student activities, ensuring that lessons remain aligned with the curriculum. She also incorporates additional supporting materials, such as engaging videos, to enrich the learning experience and includes interactive activities to encourage student participation. PowerPoint presentations are consistently used for discussions. Her planning is not only focused on organizing lesson structures but also on ensuring that learning is engaging and enjoyable.

Preparing Lessons and Materials
In lesson preparation, my cooperating teacher utilizes modern tools and online platforms to create engaging and fun activities for students. She incorporates videos and interactive online applications to deliver content effectively. PowerPoint presentations are also a key part of her discussions. She makes good use of technology to simplify complex concepts and ensure that students remain actively involved in the learning process.

Teaching in Class
The teacher uses a student-centered teaching style, acting as a facilitator by asking questions to encourage discussions rather than simply delivering lectures. She allows students to apply critical thinking, giving them space to freely express their opinions and explore ideas.

Measurement and Evaluation
Teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta likely use a combination of formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning. Group activities are conducted after discussions to reinforce learning. Additionally, students complete individual worksheets after the lesson to assess their understanding.
